Hold baggage screening
Hold baggage security screening is a major and complex element of airport security. At Samsic, we work hand-in-hand with you to help implement your security improvement projects and we focus on sharing best practices to ensure that our operations are constantly improved and meet your needs.
Samsic secures each item of hold baggage using equipment provided by airport management companies, and our flexible security teams have been trained to adapt to a range of baggage screening machines, baggage scanner specifications, and new technologies. Our key objective is to guarantee that no prohibited item enters an airport.
To ensure the safety and security of passengers and occupants at airports, we have developed services requiring specific expertise, such as Explosive Detection Dog teams, and a team of security agents to conduct hold baggage searches in the presence of the baggage owners.
Our teams also provide profiling services in response to highly-specific requirements; they are trained in behaviour-detection techniques which are designed to identify a potential threat and minimize or prevent attacks. Our profilers are constantly on the lookout for unusual behavior and are able to take appropriate measures and contact the relevant authorities instantly.
